SKETCHES
For Vassar's production of Measure for Measure, we took a less traditional approach, building leather studded harnesses for multiple characters and incorporating brightly colored fabrics and makeup design
For Or, the costume shop did multiple full builds, including two corsets, petticoats, trousers, and capes
The costumes for Hurricane Diane were intended to deteriorate slowly throughout the course of the play, ending in the dramatic climax scene in which Diana reveals herself amidst the hurricane
While abroad in Paris, I interned for The Théâtre Molière Sorbonne, during which I sewed completely by hand using Baroque-era techniques to create costumes for the University's Molière productions
For The Ghost Sonata the costume shop completed several full builds, including the Jokers' garments, an apron, blouses, skirts, and masks. The production also required hours of bedazzling and detail work. However, the real challenge was in the complexity of the makeup design
Fury incorperated detailed hand-made masks for each character. The costumes were meant to have a decaying feel, and the costume shop was tasked with producing an array of fake blood samples
